Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong background in Data Engineering and ETL projects. The ideal candidate should have experience managing end-to-end data platform implementations, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering complex data integration projects on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Data Engineering and ETL projects.
- Lead teams working on data integration, data pipelines, and data warehouse solutions.
- Coordinate with data engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and clients.
- Define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Track project progress, risks, and dependencies and ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure quality standards, documentation, and best practices are followed.
- Manage client communication, reporting, and stakeholder expectations.
- Support solution planning, estimation, and technical discussions for data projects.
Required Skills
- 10–15 years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Data / ETL project management.
- Strong understanding of ETL tools and data integration platforms (Talend, Informatica, or similar).
- Experience working with data warehouses, data lakes, and big data ecosystems.
- Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data architecture concepts.
- Experience managing Agile / Scrum-based project delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop ecosystem).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Background in data analytics or BI platforms.
- PMP / Scrum certification is a plus.
