Position Overview:

• Edgematics is seeking an experienced Project Manager with PMP certification and expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies.
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing largescale Software Development projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage a detailed project plan, including tasks, timelines, and resources.
• Execute projects based on Agile Scrum methodologies, facilitating daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.

2. Stakeholder Management

• Regularly communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders and provide timely solutions.
• Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

3. Budget Management

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery.
• Track project expenditures and ensure they remain within the allocated budget.

4. Risk Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and proactive responses to any challenges.

5. Quality Assurance

• Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with the QA team for testing and validation.

6. Team Leadership

• Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring optimal performance and cohesion.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

7. Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with the latest in project management best practices and Agile methodologies.
• Recommend improvements to processes and tools, driving efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• PMP certification is a must.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of [8 years] experience in managing large-scale software development projects.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Proficiency in project management software tools, such as Jira, MS Project, or Trello.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
